Greeting and salutations to all!
So far I have not blogged much, but it's kind of hard when one has school to deal with. Heck, I hardly have the chance to get on facebook, let alone trying to blog! But I still will continue on!
Spring break went really well and I enjoyed at least most of it. There were moments. But hey, nothings perfect, right?
Now tomorrow I'm to begin the second week of classes for my Junior Spring Quarter at Walla Walla University, and so far it promises once again to be a very VERY busy quarter. However, with a little help from a certain Someone who looks down at me from above, I'm sure I will make it through. :-]
Anyways, I better go! I need to sleep. Good night history world!!

Spring Vacation
For the last week now, I have been in California. So far the trip has been really great! Got to see Old Sacramento and while there, I got to see two museums! Woot! My husband and I have been doing a lot of visiting, which can be very tiring, but it is good to meet all these people who have been special in his life at some point and time.
California has been awesome! Will have to give more detail later for now it is time for bed!
Adios world!

The Second Crusade
What led to the Second Crusades downfall?
There were many factors that would lead to the downfall of the Second Crusade. One fact would be the lack of obedience on the part of both troops and vassals of high status.
Another would be the inability for the leaders, such as Conrad III and King Louis VII, to keep order and make good decisions along the way to Jerusalem.
Yet another reason would be the lack of adequate supplies to feed the troops.
Natural disasters such as flooding rain and disease.
And last, the gullibility of nobles during the attack on Damascus. Leaving a well defended area just because someone convinced them that there was a better place on the other side of the city to attack.
So why did the Second Crusade fail?
You tell me. =)

My first blog
This is the first time I'm attempting something like this. My plan for this blog is to not only share some of my history, but to post anything of interest from anything I study in history. I hope everyone enjoys it and I will do my best to post as often as I can.
